A range of 45 min Yoga classes that work ideally as rescue from office/Uni stress and as warm up and cool down before/after other forms of exercise. As classes are short the pace is relatively quick. Breathing and relaxation practices are always included but are obviously short to create a well balanced Yoga class.

INTERMEDIATE YOGA Wednesdays 7-8.30pm The Mount Community Hall
This is a friendly, leave your ego at the door Intermediate class. Suitable for those with some previous Yoga experience or those who are aware of their own bodies and their limitations. An element of pre-knowledge of basic postures is assumed. A wide range of asanas are practised, health issues are taken into account and modifications suggested to suit your needs. Sessions comprise one hour movement from a variety of bases followed by a breath practice and relaxation. The hall is quite warm but it is a good idea to bring a blanket for relaxation. Some mats are available to borrow but once you are established in the class it is a good idea to buy one. I have some mats for sale or can advise of places to buy a mat to suit your needs. As time goes on you will also need a belt and blocks though certainly not in the first few weeks.

Our busy lives mean that we cannot always come to an earlier Yoga class. Method similar to 7pm session though due to time of day movements are a little more quietening and there is an increased focus on breath work and relaxation to calm the nervous system ready for sleep.

Making being pregnant easier.
So many of us now have to work throughout pregnancy and sometimes this means that it is difficult to commit to a long course.
The 3 week block costs £30. Timeslots at 6pm and 7pm Monday evenings, pre booking essential.
Each session is for 4 people only to ensure the highest levels of safety and individual attention.
These sessions are very gentle and are suitable from the moment you know you are pregnant until you decide you no longer need them.
The Lunchtime Yoga Blast, Flexible 1:1 and small group yoga sessions that fit in with you
available by appointment and taught at Calm Yoga Studio. These sessions are proving very popular either as a monthly one to one for individuals or a weekly tailormade session for up to 4 friends or family members.
These sessions are very informal and the ethos is ENJOYMENT WHILST EXERCISING BODY AND CALMING MIND AND BREATH.
Appointments are available for lunchtime slots to give you fruitful time away from work. Cost is £30 per hour session.

6 week intro courses suitable from 4 weeks old. Block cost £40. Class size limited to 4 adults and 4 babies.
Continuing to support beyond birth. Movements for you and baby(ies) to enjoy developing your bond and to help you manage stress. Promoting good digestion, breathing and awareness of sensory stimuli, assisting development naturally. Sessions consist of movements for parent and child with the emphasis on building exercise into our lives even when we are busy looking after little ones. Ultimately a calm Parent means a calmer baby. Twins also welcome through triplets and more will need a second adult to attend.

Dynamic yogalution method to build physical and emotional strength through an envigorating circulatory practice followed by breathing and relaxation practices to promote healthy sleep patterms and effectively manage stress and stress related conditions.

Thursdays 10am Story method Yoga for 2 - 3 year olds
Am opportunity to share time with your child/ren in a relaxed environment. Creative sessions to encourage creativity and a love of stories. Movement as well as breathing and relaxation practices to support child/ren development and help you to establish your own Yoga time together at home. Sessions are for 4 children and 4 adults. Twins and more very welcome as are children with specific needs. Held at Calm Yoga Studio.

ASSISTED YOGA, YOGA NIDRA AND ART
Available by appointment. Assisting emotional and physical wellbeing. An ideal way to gain the benefits of Yoga for those unable to acccess an ordinary class either due to illness, frailty or disability. Cost £30/session as for 1:1, cost can be split by up to 4 people attending the same session.
These sessions use some basic Thai yoga massage moves as well as breathing, relaxation and art therapy methods to create a dynamic, diverse and interesting programme that works to improve quality of life.
