Workplace Yoga

Do you ever feel under pressure at work?

Targets can be a very useful way of focusing our efforts. Our adrenaline levels increase and we strive to do our best. However, if we work this way without regular time out, we become unable to unwind. In time this manifests as poor sleep patterns and can lead to ill health.

Yoga is a valuable tool for improving mental focus and raising productivity at work. Sessions are most effective when slotted into the working day, as they have the added benefit of encouraging a sense of team spirit.

As well as addressing issues of stress, research has repeatedly shown that yoga can improve posture and reduce back and other repetitive strain injuries caused by desk-based working.

On each occasion I have hired Louise I have found her work to be of the highest standard. Louise designed yoga sessions to reflect the specific themes we gave her, and the feedback from staff and customers was excellent.
— Stephen Dodd, Sunderland City Council
Louise delivers consistently interesting and fun courses, is very clear and calm in her manner and brings an innovative approach to her work. I’d happily recommend her to anyone looking for attentive, balanced yoga instruction.
